Cookies and Tracking

We use no third-party analytics and share no visit data with anyone. To count visits, your browser keeps two random ids in its storage (not advertising cookies) and remembers the last page viewed in the session, so a reload is not counted again. The counters keep only daily totals for good; to avoid counting twice they hold one-way encrypted forms of these ids for up to 2 days, then delete them. The counters never store your IP address: it is only used briefly in memory to stop abuse and look up the country. Like any web server, ours keeps a standard access log (IP address, page and browser) for 14 days for security and troubleshooting. Browsers that send "Do Not Track" are still counted in this anonymous way. Countries are looked up with IP Geolocation by DB-IP (db-ip.com, licensed CC BY 4.0).

You can delete these ids at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. The sign-in cookie only keeps you signed in.
